PatrolSheet / OfficerReports alternative

Looking for an OfficerReports alternative?

OfficerReports is an established guard management platform. If you are comparing options, here is how to judge them, and where PatrolSheet is different.

OfficerReports offers software for security companies that covers guard tours, reports and other operations. It is a full platform. This page does not claim it is worse. It explains what to compare, so you can pick what fits your company.

Questions to ask any guard software

How is it priced, and what will you pay at your size?

Some tools charge per site, some per guard, some per device. Prices change, so check each vendor's current pricing page or ask for a quote. Work out what you would pay for your real number of sites and guards, not the example on the page.

What happens with no signal?

Ask directly: if a guard files a report in a basement with no signal and the app is closed, is the report still there tomorrow? Ask to test it in airplane mode during a trial.

What do your clients receive?

Your clients judge your service by the reports they get. Ask for a sample client report and look at it the way your client would.

Can you leave with your data?

Check that you can export all reports, photos and logs at any time, in formats you can open without the software.

Where PatrolSheet fits

PatrolSheet focuses onWhy
Companies with 5 to 30 guardsSimple setup, published monthly prices, no sales call
Offline-first guard appEvery scan, report and photo is saved on the phone first, and nothing is lost when signal drops
Automatic daily client reportsA branded PDF in each client's inbox every morning, at the time you set, and you see when it was sent
A client link and a monthly summaryClients can open every report themselves, with no login
Guard app on iPhone, Android and webGuards stay signed in, and a rough note becomes a clear report with the optional AI writer
An edit history on every reportEdits never overwrite. Every change shows who, when and what changed
Export from day oneYour data stays yours

PatrolSheet does not do everything. Scheduling, payroll, invoicing, NFC tags, live GPS tracking and a panic button are not part of it today. You can export shift hours as a CSV file for payroll. If you need the rest in one tool, a full platform may suit you better.

Plans start at $79 a month for up to 5 guards and 2 sites, with a 14-day free trial and no card. See all plans and a sample client report.

Switching from another app?

You do not have to move everything at once. Add one site to PatrolSheet, import its checkpoints and guards from a CSV file, print new QR labels and test a scan on day one. Run it beside your current app for a night or two and compare the report your client gets. Records in your old app stay in that app, so export what you need from it before you cancel.

The free trial is 14 days and needs no card, so you can check the offline behavior and the client report yourself instead of taking our word for it.
